The Danish AWB Network
Hosted by the Danish National Committee for the protection of animals used for scientific purposes, the network started in 2014. The network currently consist of 45 Animal Welfare Bodies.
The AWB network has a steering committee which meets biannually with the Danish National Committee. One major task is to give in-put to and co-organise the annual meeting for all Danish AWBs. The network interacts with the National Committee with our shared objectives:
- Promotion of the Three Rs
- In-put to advice to competent authorities
- Dissemination of good practice
- Exchange of information on the approach to project evaluation to facilitate a coherent and harmonised approach at national level
- In-put to guidance on specific topics in the areas of acquisition, breeding,
- Accommodation, care and use of animals
